This is the Audio Edition of “When Does Christmas Start?” read by me.

This series arrives a week after each essay and is one of the features The Evergreens subscription pays for, along with the Carol Performance Series and the 12 Days of Yuleology. Monthly or annual options, same access. The written essay stays free, as it always will.

This Audio Edition describes the results of 162 responses I received when I asked when Christmas music would be acceptable in your house. I provided four options to choose from: November 1st, after U.S. Thanksgiving, the first Sunday of Advent, or not one note before Christmas Eve. Find out what the main five camps are (sorted by when your Christmases begin), and how many fell into each camp.
